Quick-Step PE tape is designed for use with Quick-Step ALPHA or any other 5-6 mm vinyl to provide waterproofing for rooms with high humidity.
Loading instructions:
- If using an underlay, it must be installed up to the wall.
- Install the Alpha Vinyl floor over the underlay, taking into account the 8 mm expansion joint.
- Fill the expansion joint with foam tape. The foam tape has a self-adhesive backing to facilitate application (sticky side down, on the underlay).
- Use Quick-Step Hydrokit to seal the foam tape. Apply a layer of Hydrokit over the foam tape, covering also a small part of the wall and vinyl.
- To complete the finish, one of the Quick-Step skirting boards can be used with Hydrostrip(NEHSTRIPSK15 or NEHSTRIPSCOT15) or the white paintable waterproof skirting board(NEVSKRPAINTA).
